Canada Job Report / Employment rose by 29,000 in January
Employment rose by 29,000 in January, the result of an increase in full-time work. The unemployment rate declined 0.2 percentage points to 7.0%. Over the past 12 months, employment increased 0.8% or 146,000 and the number of hours worked rose 0.7%.
