Economy in Europe – Industrial production fell for a second month in a row

In July 2018 compared with June 2018, seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 0.8% in the euro area (EA19) and by 0.7% in the EU28, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In June 2018, industrial production fell by 0.8% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU28.

In July 2018 compared with July 2017, industrial production decreased by 0.1% in the euro area and increased by 0.8% in the EU28.
