4. In 2015, about 4.9 million people born in the UK lived in other countries, the 10th-largest emigrant population in the world.
5. Despite its relatively large global emigrant population, as of 2015, only 25% of the UK’s emigrant population lives in other EU countries, the lowest share among EU nations.
