Matthew Levinson, chairman of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, said he was surprised to learn there were so many job openings that needed to be filled immediately. Although most of them are seasonal positions that will end after the summer, there are also openings for 350 full-time jobs, he noted.
“Yes, there are a lot of seasonal and temporary jobs out there, but there are jobs available immediately at Atlantic City’s casino hotels that can provide meaningful employment for a significant number of people and a short-term boost for others that could lead to full-time employment down the road,” Levinson said.
