Latvia / Unemployment increases to 9.3 percent

Unemployment in Latvia during November increased to 9.3 percent, the State Employment Agency reports.

The new figures show an increase of 0.2 percent when compared to October, where the registered unemployment rate was 9.1 percent.

The highest unemployment rate was recorded in the Latgale Province at 18.7 percent, whilst the lowest unemployment rate was registered in Riga and the surrounding region – six percent.
