Ireland / Dropbox and Centric Health to create up to 240 jobs

Up to 240 jobs are to be created in two separate announcements, with Kildare and Dublin first to benefit.

US company Dropboxis to set up an international operations centre in Dublin, creating up to 40 jobs, in the company’s first move outside the United States.

Dropbox will be hiring for a variety of positions, including multi-lingual sales teams, account management and user operations staff to provide support to Dropbox users in Europe.

Meanwhile, primary healthcare services provider Centric Health is creating 200 positions in 10 new primary care centres around the country. Fifty of the jobs will come on stream over the next year.

The first of the new centres will open in 2013 in Newbridge in Co Kildare and centres for Celbridge, Kildare and the Navan Road in Dublin are also underway.
