Rosebud Mining Begins Layoffs

As many as 30 workers will be receiving unemployment checks following what some workers call the “beginning” of further cuts in the Rosebud Mining organization.

While there was no one available at Rosebud to confirm reports, it appears that over 20 positions were eliminated in Rosebud’s Kittanning operation on Route 422 and at least ten more in Starford, Indiana County…
