Waterbury Hospital is laying off 75 employees to save nearly $4.5 million.
WVIT-TV and The Hartford Courant report that the job cuts will affect about 5 percent of the hospital’s work force of 1,700. The cuts include 22 management jobs, educators and clerical and support staff.
