An American call centre company is to create 600 jobs in Cardiff.
Conduit already employs more than 1,900 staff across three centres in south Wales – Cardiff city centre, Cardiff Gate and Swansea.
After securing a lucrative contract with British Gas, the firm is “actively” looking for more staff – and bosses say Wales is crucial to its operations.
First Minister Carwyn Jones welcomed the news and said it shows that the Welsh capital is becoming an increasingly attractive centre for financial and professional services.
“This announcement is yet another indication that Welsh Government policies are having a beneficial effect supporting the economy and creating jobs during these difficult times,” he said.
