Continental AG, the leading German automotive manufacturing company specializing in tires, brake systems, automotive safety, powertrain and chassis components said it plans to increase its employee count by around 7,000 in 2014 – from 178,000 in 2013 to 185,000 by the end of the year. ![]()
The company said it plans to increase sales by 5 percent this year, from 33 billion euros to around 35 billion euros.
The Hanover based giant added 1,800 new jobs in China, 1,500 in the U.S and approximately 1,500 in Romania at Iasi, Brasov, Sibiu and Timisoara.
