Sesame Street cuts Jobs

The non-profit producer of Sesame Street, Sesame Workshop, has laid off about 30 members of its workforce in order to keep up with the constant changing of digital technologies.

The lay off’s come just a few weeks after the show earned six Daytime Emmy awards.

A spokesperson for Sesame Workshop says, “We remain optimistic about our future and remain committed to our mission of helping children reach their highest potential here and around the globe.”
