The Home Depot is looking to fill 6,700 jobs across Canada, 1,067 in Alberta, as the home improvement retailer gears up for summer, its peak season.
All stores in the province will be hosting career fairs later this month. On March 19 from 12 to 4 p.m., events will be held in eight Edmonton stores, as well as outlets in Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Fort Saskatchewan, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Lloydminster. The company is hiring full-time, part-time and seasonal sales associates, cashiers, design professionals, department supervisors and night operators.
“We anticipate tons of people coming in to sign up,” Jennifer Hills, a Home Depot spokesperson, said in an email. “When it comes to experience, we look for people who have a passion for our products and customer service. Whether an after school job for a student or a retiree’s way of keeping busy, The Home Depot strives to hire the top talent to join our team of associates.”
