Yellow Media plans to create about 170 new Montreal-based information and digital technology positions as the directories publisher transitions to an online media company.
But Yellow Media also said about 125 clerical positions will be moved to other company offices across Canada from Montreal, as the company reorganizes various office locations into specialized teams.
“We continue to align our resources in accordance with the transition and expansion of our digital products and services,” Marc Tellier, president and CEO of Yellow Pages Group, said Tuesday.
“The substantial growth of our digital teams and centralization of our service teams reiterates our commitment to accelerating our digital transformation and to providing our clients access to quality service and expertise,” Mr. Tellier said in a news release.
