Vinyl window maker Dove Industries is closing its plant on the Sans Souci Parkway this week and 106 employees are losing their jobs, according to a notice filed with the state Department of Labor and Industry.
Dove Industries sought new capital to stay open but was advised that financing was not available to continue its operations, according to the notice filed under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
The layoffs are expected to be permanent and all affected employees have received notices of their scheduled layoff dates, according to the company.
