Campbell River could become a service centre for increased mining exploration activity on the North Island following a $930,000 funding announcement under the BC Jobs Plan.

“This initiative, by itself, could be a major driver for your economy,” said Jobs, Tourism and Innovation Minister Pat Bell at the Maritime Heritage Centre Wednesday afternoon.
