Hawker Beechcraft announces another 150 layoffs at Wichita

Hawker Beechcraft has announced layoffs for the second time in three weeks, this time affecting 150 employees at its Wichita aircraft plant.

The latest cuts will reduce the aircraft maker’s total employment in Wichita to 4,200 people.

Hawker Beechcraft announced on April 23 that it was giving 60-day layoff notices to about 350 employees – mostly hourly workers – at the Wichita plant as it adjusted production.
